Controlling Applications With Gestures
posted by Editor on Monday September 17, @11:28PM
Gesture Interfaces Sensiva is a Windows tool that lets users perform actions by drawing a symbol. It can be configured to start an application, i.e. Microsoft Word by stroking the letter "W", for example, or go to a web site, i.e. Yahoo by drawing the letter "Y. It can also store sign-in names and passwords, so that drawing an "E" on the screen gets email, for example. It can be set up to do searching, by highlighting a chosen word and drawing a symbol will perform a search on that term. Sensiva ships in three packages: Sensiva Commander ($24.95) for launching applications, Sensiva Navigator ($24.95) for browsing, and Sensiva Pro ($29.95) for both functions. All are provided on a try-and-buy basis for 30 days.
